Beat’n’Tracks from The Crew allows you to celebrate a friend, colleague or loved one, sharing stories from your life and the points at which they overlap with the journey of this special person.  Interwoven with the music you love and the tracks they’ll enjoy, this will be a personal tribute to treasure.

Through a series of friendly, informal interviews for each member of ‘The Crew’, we provide the space to retell memories, recount personal anecdotes and recognise the highs and lows you’ve encountered together, all punctuated by a selection of special music chosen and introduced by you. How did you meet? What were your first impressions? What did you learn together? Where did you go wrong? How did you change? How are you similar, and where do you differ? Sensitively edited, this can provide enormous personal encouragement and delight to any recipient, as a unique tribute and entertaining playlist.

Beat’n’Tracks from The Crew does not aim to document a full biography.  Instead, we will capture a selection of stories that each member of ‘The Crew’ chooses to share, aiming to draw out funny anecdotes and personal tributes in equal measure. If you want to recognise a special person who avoids taking centre-stage, or encourage a friend who underestimates their own worth, or simply team up with friends or family to surprise your loved one with a unique soundtrack, then this format is for you!

What is included?

• Minimum of 3 ‘Crew’ members, up to a maximum of 6 participants, each dedicating 1 to 4 tracks
• Minimum 1 track choice for each participant, up to a maximum of 4 tracks each, selected and introduced by you, downloaded and edited into your final recording (in addition to interview time)
• 15 minute interview (edited to at least 10 mins recording) per track for each participant, plus track play-time
• Your final playlist as a digital set of MP3 tracks for download, together with pdf play-list, and ‘how to’ guide for export to Spotify, Apple Music etc.
• Optional extra to add a beautiful presentation box containing your final recording on a USB-A & C memory stick or CD

Need more time?

• Add additional track choices for each participant, up to a maximum of 4 tracks per person, each track with an additional 10 to 15 minute interview time
• The minimum edited recording time for 3 ‘Crew’ members with 1 track choice each will be approx 30-40 mins, plus tracks play-time
• The maximum edited recording time for 6 ‘Crew’ members with 4 track choices each will be approx 4 – 5 hrs, plus tracks play-time

Where is the interview?

We recommend interviews in person for the best possible experience, quality of recording and personal touch.  We come to you with simple but professional equipment to prepare a successful recording in your familiar setting.  This allows you to relax, hassle free, and enjoy the experience! But there are several alternative interview formats to choose from to suit your convenience and budget, as follows:

1. Interview in your own home:  We come to you, price includes additional travel costs based on the distance from OX2 7QD.
2. Interview at Beat’n’Tracks office:  You come to us, at no additional charge.  Why not plan a visit to historic Oxford while you’re here?
3. Interview on-line using remote podcast software:  We send you a link to join on your computer or device, at no additional charge.
