Beat’n’Tracks at Your Do will provide a fun diversion for your guests, prompting conversation and appealing equally to all ages.  If you want to add a distinctive, personal touch to your event, Beat’n’Tracks at Your Do is the format for you, resulting in a unique playlist including the voices of your friends and family and the tracks that remind them of you!   After your special day is over, this soundtrack will make for a timeless keepsake you’ll cherish forever.

How does it work?

We’ll prepare a digital or printed ‘flyer’ before the event for you to send your guests so they have a chance to think about the track they’d like to choose for you – whether it reminds them of you, takes them back to a mutual friend or shared experience, or just gets people up on their feet!

We’ll coordinate with your venue and arrive at your event in plenty of time to set up our modest recording equipment in an appropriate corner.  When your guests arrive, we’ll be ready to welcome them, encouraging them to record a short message, well wishes or perhaps an anecdote, dedicating a track that reminds them of you! Each participant will simply be asked to give their name and explain which track they’ve chosen, and why.  Recordings are done informally, ‘behind the scenes’, and do not involve any public speaking or rehearsal.  The music will not be played at your event, but instead it will be downloaded after the event and edited together with your personalised dedications to create your playlist.

Guests will find it fun and engaging, creating a natural ice-breaker and conversation starter, and working equally well for children and adults, friends and family.  The number of dedications will depend on the level of engagement from your guests and the time allowed for us to attend your event.  We’ll need a relatively quiet area to record, away from live or recorded music, but there’s no need for complete silence, and the general hum of background conversation and clinking glasses will work fine.

What is included?

• Attendance at your event, for a minimum of 2 hours, depending on the number of guests and dedications you are planning
• Each dedication typically lasting between 20 seconds and 2 minutes, depending on the guest
• At least 20 track choices, selected and introduced by your guests, downloaded and edited into your final recording
• Your final playlist as a digital set of MP3 tracks for download, together with pdf play-list, and ‘how to’ guide for export to Spotify, Apple Music etc.
• Optional extra to add a beautiful presentation box containing your final recording on a USB-A & C memory stick or CD

Please note, the number of dedications cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the level of engagement from your guests.  Guests typically love to get involved, but nobody is obliged to take part!

Need more time?

• Add more time up to a maximum of 5 hours at your event, typically for 50 to 60 dedications
• Guests are welcome to make dedications as a couple, allowing up to 120 guests to be included in the recordings
• Up to 3 additional dedications can be included for guests who can’t attend on the day, using a simple voice-memo

Where is the event?

Before your booking, we ask you to complete a simple Background Form with your details, a little about the event, including venue, and date, enabling us to plan for your special day.  Our pricing includes for travel costs to your venue, based on the distance from OX2 7QD.
