Beat’n’Tracks for You is an opportunity to capture stories from your life, together with the music that has been significant to you along the way.

Through the format of a friendly, informal interview, we listen, encourage and provide the space to recount memories, celebrate the highlights and recognise life’s challenges, all punctuated by a selection of special music chosen and introduced by you. Sensitively edited, this is a unique and personal recording to be cherished and valued for generations.

Beat’n’Tracks for You does not aim to document your full biography.  Instead, we will capture the stories you choose to share, like the edited highlights of your life story so far. If you have always wanted to share your ‘Desert Island Discs’ or choose your personal ‘Top Ten’ tracks, then this format is for you!

What is included?

• Professionally recorded interview, starting at 1 to 1.5 hours, and edited to at least 1 hour final recording, plus tracks play-time
• At least 6 track choices, selected and introduced by you, downloaded and edited into your final recording (in addition to interview time)
• Your final playlist as a digital set of MP3 tracks for download, together with pdf play-list, and ‘how to’ guide for export to Spotify, Apple Music etc.
• Optional extra to add a beautiful presentation box containing your final recording on a USB-A & C memory stick or CD

Need more time?

• Add up to 4 additional track choices , each with an additional 10 to 15 minute interview time
• The final edited recording time for a maximum of 10 track choices will be approx 1hr 45 to 2 hrs 15 in total, plus tracks play-time

Where is the interview?

We recommend interviews in person for the best possible experience, quality of recording and personal touch.  We come to you with simple but professional equipment to prepare a successful recording in your familiar setting.  This allows you to relax, hassle free, and enjoy the experience! But there are several alternative interview formats to choose from to suit your convenience and budget, as follows:

1. Interview in your own home:  We come to you, price includes additional travel costs based on the distance from OX2 7QD.
2. Interview at Beat’n’Tracks office:  You come to us, at no additional charge.
3. Interview on-line using remote podcast software:  We send you a link to join on your computer or device, at no additional charge.

Before your interview, we ask you to complete one of our simple Background Forms with your details, a little about your background, and crucially, your track choices!  The more information you can provide, the more personalised, relevant and interesting we can make your recording.
